Tazret Cream Each gram contains Tazarotene (Product Specs. Crystolite’s) 0.1% w/w
Description:
Tazret Cream 0.1% is a prescription medication for topical use on the skin. It is designed to treat plaque psoriasis and acne vulgaris in adults. Please note that its safety and effectiveness have not been established for children under 18 years of age for psoriasis and under 12 years of age for acne vulgaris
Who Should Avoid Tazret Cream?
Do not use Tazret Cream if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy without effective birth control, or allergic to any of its ingredients. Consult the list of ingredients at the end of this leaflet for more information
Consult Your Doctor Before Use:
Before using inform your doctor if you have eczema or other skin conditions, any other medical conditions, or if you are breastfeeding. The decision to use Tazret Cream or breastfeed should be made in consultation with your doctor. Additionally, inform your doctor about all medications, including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and supplements, as some may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight
Usage Instructions:
 For Psoriasis: Apply to dry skin as directed by your doctor. Soften or moisturize your skin at least 1 hour before applying the cream
 For Acne: Gently wash and dry your face before applying a thin layer of Tazret Cream to affected areas once daily in the evening. Avoid applying it to unaffected skin or skin with eczema
Precautions:
Avoid sunlight and sunlamps as can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Use sunscreen with at least SPF 15 and protective clothing
 If you experience sunburn during treatment, discontinue until the sunburn heals
Be cautious about potential side effects such as skin irritation, itching, burning, redness, and peeling. Consult your doctor if these symptoms occur
Side Effects:
Common side effects of for plaque psoriasis include itching, redness, and burning. For acne, common side effects include peeling, dry skin, redness, and burning. If you experience bothersome side effects or they persist, consult your doctor
