ScabFREE Cream: Effective Relief from Scabies and Lice
Infestations
ScabFREE Cream, containing Permethrin BP, is a powerful
ectoparasiticide specially formulated to combat a range of parasitic
infestations, including scabies, head lice (Pediculosis capitis), crab lice
(Phthirus pubis), and their eggs This dermatological solution is designed to
provide quick and efficient relief from these troublesome conditions
 Indications and Uses
ScabFREE Cream is indicated for:
- Scabies: An itchy skin condition caused by tiny mites that
burrow into the skin It can lead to intense itching and a pimplelike rash - Head Lice (Pediculosis Capitis): Common infestation of the
scalp with tiny insects It causes itching and discomfort - Crab Lice (Phthirus Pubis): These lice infest the pubic
hair region and can lead to itching and discomfort - Eggs: ScabFREE Cream is effective against the eggs of
these parasites, helping prevent further infestations
Contraindications
ScabFREE Cream is contraindicated for individuals with known
hypersensitivity to permethrin or any of its components If you suspect an
allergic reaction, consult a healthcare professional
 Precautions
 Avoid contact with
the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes
 Do not ingest the
product
 In rare cases,
eczematous eruptions due to irritation may occur Watch for pruritus, erythema,
stinging, or rashes, and consult a healthcare provider if needed
 Limited data is
available regarding the use of permethrin during pregnancy, and it is unknown
whether it is excreted in breast milk Consult a healthcare professional if you
are pregnant or breastfeeding
 Directions for Use
- For scabies treatment, follow these instructions:
- Â Ensure the skin is dry
- If crusted lesions are present, a warm bath before
application can be helpful - After a bath, let the skin dry and cool before applying
the cream or lotion - Apply a thin layer of ScabFREE Cream or Lotion to the
entire body, excluding the head in adults (including the face, neck, scalp, and
ears in children and the elderly) - Pay special attention to areas between fingers, toes,
wrists, axillae, thighs, external genitalia, and buttocks - All family members should use ScabFREE Cream at the same
time to ensure complete eradication - Avoid applying cream close to the eyes or mouth
- Leave the cream on for 812 hours and then remove it with
thorough washing - While one application is usually curative, a second
application after 7 days may be necessary if the condition ersists or new
lesions appear
Dosage
 For Cream:
  Adults & Children over 12 years: Up to 1
tube
  Children:
- Â Â Â Â Aged 512 years: Up to 1/2 of a tube
- Â Â Â Â 15 years: Up to 1/4 of a tube
-     2 months  1 year: Up to 1/8 of a tube
- Â Â Few adults may need more than one tube A
maximum of two tubes (60g) is allowed
 For Lotion:
  Follow the recommended dosage based on age
  Some adults may require more than one bottle
(30ml)
External Use Only
ScabFREE Cream is for external use only Do not ingest or
allow it to contact your eyes or mucous membranes
