Composition:

 Each gram of Cream contains Mometasone Furoate 01

Clinical Pharmacology:

•  Cream, like
  other topical corticosteroids, possesses antiinflammatory, antipruritic, and
  vasoconstrictive properties
•  The exact mechanism
  of how topical corticosteroids exert their antiinflammatory effects is not
  entirely clear, but it is believed to involve the induction of inhibitory
  proteins called lipocortins, which control the production of inflammatory
  mediators

 Corticosteroids are
used primarily for their antiinflammatory and immunosuppressive effects
Mometasone Furoate exhibits both dermatological and systemic effects typical of
this drug class

 Indications & Usage:

 Nasonex Cream 01% is
a mediumpotency corticosteroid designed to alleviate inflammatory and pruritic
symptoms in corticosteroidresponsive dermatoses

Contraindications:

 Nasonex Cream is
contraindicated in individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to any
components in the preparation

Dosage & Administration:

•  Apply a thin layer of
  Nasonex Cream to affected skin areas once or twice daily
•  This cream may be
  used in pediatric patients aged 2 years or older However, safety and efficacy
  for more than three weeks of use in pediatric patients have not been
  established Use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended
•  Therapy should be discontinued
  once control is achieved If no improvement is observed within two weeks,
  reassess the diagnosis
•  Cream should
  not be used with occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician
